Baltic~winter holiday

Baltic - winter holidays - welcome to the Baltic Hotel on the lime tree avenue!

You can not only actively relax on a Baltic Sea holiday in summer - you can also enjoy the Baltic Sea stimulating climate on a Baltic Sea winter holiday from the Ostsee-Pension An der Lindenallee for a few days or over the weekend as a little break from everyday life to recharge your batteries. Or simply use it to switch off from everyday stress. This can e. g. by a Baltic Sea beach hike between Heiligendamm and the Baltic Sea resort of Kühlungsborn along the cliff coast or from Heiligendamm via Börgerende in the direction of the Baltic Sea resort of Nienhagen. Appropriate clothing appropriate to the weather conditions is of course required. The way back from Kuehlungsborn to Bad Doberan - Heiligendamm can of course also be done by bus or with the steaming narrow gauge train "Molli".

In cold weather, of course, z. B. a mulled wine, grog, hot chocolate or lemon for more well-being.

In Bad Doberan you can visit the Christmassy decorated cathedral and the many small art shops. With a bit of luck there will be a white Christmas wonderland on the Baltic Sea coast during the Advent season when there is snow! The small ponds, ponds and lakes also freeze over - every few years also parts of the Baltic Sea and the Salzhaff in Rerik. For tobogganing, we also have some elevations of around 100 meters in the landscape protection area of Kühlung and its foothills.

~ Baltic Sea nature holiday & Sea Activities ~

Of course you can also visit the Christmas markets in Rostock, Schwerin or the old Hanseatic cities of Wismar and Lübeck during Advent for gingerbread, warm Mutzen, sausage, crepes, mulled wine and much more.

A visit to the Rostock Zoo - the most beautiful in Europe - and the museums in Rostock and the surrounding area are worthwhile. At the turn of the year there are big fireworks to admire along the promenades, beaches and pier in Kuehlungsborn, Rostock-Warnemünde, in Heiligendamm a little bit smaller. On New Year's Day, the multimedia show invites you to the "tower lights" in Warnemünde. In Kuehlungsborn, an ice rink for skating is set up on the beautifully illuminated promenade and the Ostseeallee in winter. Indoor activities such as black light mini golf, bowling, escape rooms, laser tag, ball sports or simply going to the cinema also offer a welcome change from everyday life in winter. Sometimes just a stroll through town with Christmas shopping is tempting. If you are not exactly an ice bather in the Baltic Sea, you can relax in indoor swimming pools with a sauna and wellness area, e.g. B. in Kühlungsborn, Rostock-Warnemünde or Wismar refresh and relax. In Rövershagen near Rostock, Karl's adventure village invites you to linger with its ice world, ice skating, chocolate and candy factory and many other varied highlights. This is the largest amusement park in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Christmas is also in the candle barns with candle making or at Grönfingers in Rostock with beautiful Christmas decorations around the many and rare plants and trees.

If you prefer it warmer, you can of course relax in the warm half of the year on a Baltic Sea cycling holiday, Baltic Sea nature holiday, Baltic Sea cultural holiday on the Baltic Sea coast.
